Law Offices of Kevin C. Boyle – Calabasas, CA – 2003 to present – Managed a litigation group of five attorneys and staff support. We litigate employment law cases (FEHA) and general business matters. Mediation of Employment and General Liability matters. This has included appellate work that has resulted in two published opinions in California. Also, I counsel business clients on risk management, insurance, employment matters and business development.

Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker – Los Angeles, CA - 1999 to 2003 – Litigated matters for a national insurance defense firm. This included cases involving intellectual property, employment law, professional responsibility and appeals before the California Appellate Courts and the Ninth Circuit.
Kohrs & Fiske – Santa Monica, CA – 1997 to 1999 – Litigated general liability and employment cases for both private and public entity clients.

U.S.Department of Defense - Industrial Engineer - Port Hueneme, CA - 1990 to 1994 - Worked at the Navel Surface Warfare Center in Port Hueneme, CA. Provided logistic support for the Standard Missile Program and worked closely with Defense contractors Hughes, Raytheon, and General Dynamics in the Los Angeles area.

This is a published opinion in California, and established law pertaining to male on male sexual harassment. It stands for the proposition that a plaintiff need not prove any sexual desire when asserting sexual harassment, but must prove the unlawful conduct was motivated by the protected class of sex/gender.

Originally published by the California Appeallate Court regarding an evidentiary rule of law. The defendants then sought Certification to be heard by the California Supreme Court who denied certification (refused to hear the matter), but in the process ordered the case decertified for publication as the Supreme Court did not like the appellate court’s characterization of Summary Judgement as a “drastic remedy.” The decision remained and the case was remanded for trial.

This appeal concerned the legal issue of diminimus defect in a personal injury trip and fall case.
Tudman v. TV Fanfare Publications, Inc., No. B159360 (Cal.App. Dist.2)
Thomas Tudman appeals from the summary judgment entered in favor of TV Fanfare Publications, Inc. This involved an employment contract. I defended the employer and we prevailed on Motion for Summary Judgement which was appealed by the plaintiff. We prevailed on appeal, supreme court refused the hear the matter thereafter.
